DESCRIPTION: The Buddha is seated in the Vajrasana (crossed ankles) posture with his hand in the Bhumisparsha Mudra (touching the earth to witness his enlightenment). Because the statue is elevated on an ornate, multi-tiered pedestal right in the center of the room, it acts as an intense visual anchor. Looking at it instantly pulls your attention inward, evoking a feeling of being completely present, stable, and grounded.
