An antique bronze Thai Sukhothai Buddha sculpture, viewed from behind, is shown against a plain black background. The Buddha is in a meditative pose on a low base, with a dark, verdigris patina on the metal and some remaining red paint on its robe. A detailed gold and red patterned textile band runs down the center of its back. It has long earlobes and its hair is in tight snail-shell curls.
