DESCRIPTION:Buddha head showing the Buddha in meditation and with features

characteristic of the the enlightened being.

Buddha heads are rare and the removal of heads from images is now banned

PERIOD: 18th century
COUNTRY OF ORIGIN: Shan, Burma
CONSTRUCTION: Sandstone

RARITY AND CONDITION: Extremely rare, good condition, some possible cleaning / restoration,
expected day to day wear (see photos)
